F-16 Fighting Falcon

During the Vietnam War, the Americans realized that their fighter planes were heavy and too big. To remedy this, a lighter fighter jet had to be ordered. After several proposals, the General Dynamics F-16 got the contract from the USAF. Thus in 1978 appears the Fighting Eagle in the sky, a light and very agile plane, capable of carrying out missions of hunting and attack. The F-16 is the best-selling aircraft worldwide. Indeed, it is part of the air fleet of Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, Israel, South Korea, the Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan and Venezuela.
