Bagotville International Air Show 2019

Promotion Saguenay has joined forces with the Bagotville International Air Show, SAIB19, to produce a fourth FREE public air show.

The Bagotville International Air Show was held for the first time in 1953. Over the years, the SAIB has built an enviable reputation throughout North America. A member of the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS), it has distinguished itself on numerous occasions with its romotional and marketing activities, having won several awards at the annual ICAS convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

No effort was spared to make SAIB19 a top-notch aviation show. Three of the largest Canadian air demonstration teams have already confirmed their participation: the Snowbirds, the CF-18 demonstration aircraft and the Sky Hawks, in addition to several aircraft from the United States.

Without a doubt, SAIB19 is the greatest family activity in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. Presented every two years, it attracts over 100,000 people every time (in 2017, that number reached over 132,000) – but with free admission for the fourth show in a row, we think that the number will be even bigger in 2019.

In addition to breathtaking air demonstrations, for over 66 years, the SAIB has helped the public discover the various facilities and services at CFB Bagotville with a large exhibit on the ground. Thousands of visitors can also see and visit dozens of aircraft.

We have also expanded our site to display more military and civilian aircraft, as well as vehicles used by the Canadian Armed Forces.
