Mike Tryggvason

The Giles Mike flies is the last airframe to come off the line at Akrotech- serial #61. The airframe is constructed primarily of carbon fiber- creating a very strong and rigid airframe. The Giles was designed to maximize the performance of the IO-360 size engine. While it may only have four cylinders under the hood, its blindingly fast roll-rate is a capability-multiplier in terms of performance. It has been proven to be a capable design for aerobatic competition in the Advanced category. In the air, it is brilliant to watch- a balance of smooth lines and lightning fast maneuverability.
